Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a sliding door braking device having a simple structure and capable of automatically bringing, at a predetermined speed, a door board of a sliding door to a gentle stop at a predetermined position, such as full-open or full-close. [Solution] This sliding door braking device comprises a fixed rail 11A provided on an upper surface of an opening in which a door board 12 of a sliding door is installed, a movable rail 11B capable of moving integrally with the door board 12 along the fixed rail 11A, and a damper mechanism 13 installed between the fixed rail 11A and the movable rail 11B to apply braking force to the movable rail 11B moving relative to the fixed rail 11A.
