The present invention relates to a sliding folding shopping cart with a detachable basket. The basket, which can be loaded with articles, can be easily attached to and detached from a cart frame, and the shopping cart can be conveniently stored in an automobile trunk or a narrow space, even when the basket is attached, by folding supporting folding legs of the cart frame and sliding the supporting folding legs with respect to the cart frame to reduce the height of the shopping cart as much as possible. As a technical means for achieving the above, the present invention comprises: a cart frame which has sliding-movement long holes formed on both sides in the longitudinal direction and a basket that can be attached to and detached from the upper side thereof; sliding-movement brackets which are installed on both sides of the cart frame in the longitudinal direction so as to each be moved along the sliding-movement long holes of the cart frame by means of a movement bracket bearing and a sliding-bar bearing on both sides; and frame supporting legs respectively hinge-coupled to the sliding-movement brackets by leg fixing-hinge pins so as to be foldable and unfoldable as left-right folding pairs, wherein a hinge pin-operation long hole is formed in the upper portion of one of each of the pairs so as to be rotatable about a leg support-hinge pin that protrudes from the upper portion of the other one of the pair, and a leg wheel is installed on the lower part of each of the frame supporting legs.
