Abstract:
[Problem] To reduce the amount of wear of a lip ring having PTFE as a main component. [Solution] A sliding mechanism for a rocking piston type oil-free reciprocating compressor comprises a cylinder, and a lip ring. The cylinder has a metal cylinder body having a cylindrical inner circumferential surface extending in an axial direction, and a coating provided on the inner circumferential surface. The lip ring is attached to a piston reciprocating along the axial direction while sliding in the cylinder, and slides with respect to the coating during the reciprocation of the piston. The lip ring has PTFE as a main component. The coating has PTFE and a binder resin as main components, and the mass ratio of the PTFE to the binder resin is not less than 0.4 and not more than 2.0.
