Abstract:
A slip resistant floor mat (20) composed of one or more layers of material the bottom layer (40) of which incorporates a plurity of recessions (30) in the bottom surface (61) of the bottom layer (40) that comes into contact with the intended surface, such as a floor. The mat (20) be manufactured by using a press mold to form the recessions (30) on the bottom surface (61) of the bottom layer (40) of the mat (20), and if desired, additional layers may be laminated together with the bottom layer (40).
