Abstract:
The invention concerns a slitter designed for a longitudinal cutting machine operating by scissors cutting, the slitter blade having a central opening for fixing the slitter on a slitter-holder and comprising on its outer circumference a peripheral cutting edge. Said slitter is characterised in that in the blade zone (10) located between the central opening (12) and the cutting edge (11) are arranged notches (14, 15, 20, 30, 35) passing through the blade thickness to provide for suspension arms (18) formed between the cutting edge (11) and the notches (14, 15, 20, 30, 35) and/or between the notches (14, 15, 20, 30, 35).
