[Solution] A slow cooling device, provided with: a furnace body forming a slow cooling chamber for slow-cooling glass; a wall member, a space being formed between the wall member and the outer wall of the furnace body; a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature in the space; a temperature regulator for regulating the temperature in the space; and a controller for controlling the temperature regulator and controlling the temperature in the space on the basis of the value detected by the temperature sensor.
