Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a slurry composition for a heat-resistant layer of a non-aqueous secondary battery, said slurry composition having high dispersion stability and good coating properties and being capable of forming a heat-resistant layer for a non-aqueous secondary battery having high thermal shrinkage resistance and a reduced residual water content. The slurry composition according to the present invention comprises a water-soluble polymer, nonconductive organic particles and water. The water-soluble polymer comprises an amide group-containing monomer unit, an acid group-containing monomer unit, and a hydroxyl group-containing monomer unit. In the water-soluble polymer, the content of the amide group-containing monomer unit is 63-98 mass% inclusive, and the content of the acid group-containing monomer unit is 1-20 mass% inclusive. The nonconductive organic particles comprise a crosslinkable monomer unit. In the nonconductive organic particles, the content of the crosslinkable monomer unit is 20-95 mass% inclusive.
