Abstract:
Dental floss and its implement are desirably be integrated. A main issue is to be able to house the implement as well as dental floss in various types of dental floss containers for convenience of storing&sol carrying, and another issue is to provide a strength superior to conventional implement functions can offer and a simple and economical method of application. This requires that the shape of the implement be simple, dwarfed and thin. For those purposes, dental floss having knot−like locks formed in advance is used. The implement has no wasteful structure including a long handle, except for lock receivers engaging the locks. It is molded such that a curve−free flat plate is formed with only U−shaped notches through which dental floss is strung so as to ensure thinness. The above arrangement not only resolves the main issue but provides further improved handling features due to a simpler and smaller structure and economical features due to simpler usage and repeated applications for an extended period of time.
