Abstract:
According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a smart card including a fingerprint detection device, and comprising: a central processing unit; a microcontroller unit selectively connected to the central processing unit, and performing fingerprint authentication on the basis of a fingerprint sensing signal received from the fingerprint detection device; and an auxiliary chip activated in connection with the central processing unit if the fingerprint authentication result is successful.
