Abstract:
Disclosed is a smart helmet. The smart helmet comprises: a solar cell panel; a charging unit for storing electrical energy generated through the solar cell panel; a reflective panel for irradiating the solar cell panel with light; an opening and closing unit for controlling sunlight irradiating the solar cell panel and the reflective panel; and a processor for controlling the opening and closing unit to increase the sunlight irradiating the solar cell panel and the reflective panel when the electric energy stored in the charging unit falls to or below a predetermined value. Accordingly, energy efficiency improves as the light collecting power of the solar cell panel increases, and whether or not the solar cell panel is exposed is automatically controlled, thus making it possible to maintain the function and lifespan of the solar cell panel.
