Abstract:
Provided are a smart home device (130, 140, 150) access method and an electronic device (110), relating to the technical field of communications and capable of enabling a smart home device (130, 140, 150) to quickly and easily obtain configuration information for accessing a wireless communication network, thus improving user experience. According to the discovery identifiers (ID) of the acquired device identifiers of all smart home devices (130, 140, 150), the electronic device (110) can trigger the Mesh connections to all smart home devices (130, 140, 150) in batches, and, on the basis of the established connections, send in batches the configuration information used for accessing the wireless communication network, such that each smart home device (130, 140, 150) accesses the wireless communication network according to said configuration information. Thus it is unnecessary for the electronic device (110) to establish connections with all of the smart home devices (130, 140, 150) one by one and send configuration information one by one. Operation is simpler and faster, and the user experience is better.
