Abstract:
The present invention relate to a smart license plate. The smart license plate helps to reduce car theft accidents because it can recognize the real owner, and once a thief ride it numbers on LED disappear so the driver is potential suspect of theft. In such case police officer can trace the car easily. The ordinary license plate could be replaced with another one, so the car cannot be traced which harden the mission of the police.

1- An interactive license plate, is an LED connected to main circuit mounted on it parts, components and a SIM to communicate with the communication company to exchange orders, messages, data and signals. The main circuits enables the communication company to activate/deactivate the SIM, so displays and hides a car number, in all controlling (the interactive license plate).

2- According to claim 1, it is an interactive license plate, consists of a motherboard, digital signal processor, microprocessor and a memory. It can process any applications require such components.

The ordinary license plate carries certain numbers identifying one car from another. License plate is matchless with any other license plate within the same governorate. It is allocated by traffic department. On that basis, cars are treated as corporate personalities, and owners pay due fms and other charges. In case of stealing a car, police can trace the license plate to find it.

Problem or deficiency with the prior art:

In case of stealing a car, the ordinary license plate could be replaced with another one, which harden the police search unless the car is stopped by petrol. Therefore, the role of license plate is to give the car its corporate personality to pay due fine. Additionally, the ordinary license plate is too old; it goes back to two centuries. So, the need arises to develop new license plate to cope with modern cars.

The-State-of-Art:

The present invention relates to a new interactive license plate rather than the old one. The interactive license plate only appears if the owner drives the car. If the car get stolen the numbers disappear immediately and sentence like "reported stolen" and like may appear. In addition, police officers can recognize stolen cars easily, as the license plates have no numbers

Other services could be provided through such interactive license plate. For example, owners could be told of their licenses expiry dates and due fins. The plate of the present invention can inform driver about traffic jams, and fog for example. The interactive license plate is not by any way limited to these applications. Disclosure Of The Invention:

The ordinary car plate is replaced with LED as shown in figure (1-2) and is mounted as shown. The LED is connected to electrical circuit (motherboard) (9) as shown in figure (1). The electrical circuit (motherboard) is connected to all parts of the LED. The LED license plate is connected to any telecommunication network to receive and send frequencies, wireless signals and other data.

When an owner desires to license a car, an authorized governmental traffic department, and have a car chassis number examined. As well known, a chassis number is unique for each car, so traffic department gives a car owner a SIM with chassis number and car numbers. A traffic department may have its own telecommunication network or may have a contract with any or all operating telecommunication companies as they cover almost the whole country.

After receiving a SIM with a car chassis numbers and a car numbers, an owner mounted it in the allocated place as shown in figure (1) in the main circuit (motherboard) that receives from and sends to networks. Through processor and provided programs, said circuit compares the chassis number and license plate number with those saved on it to verify them. If the data turned to be correct, the main circuit allows license number to appear on the LED (1) as shown on figure (2), a car then have interactive license plate.

In case the car is stolen, the owner may contact the allocated communication company, which verifies the owner's identity through answering some questions he/she the only one who knows their answers. The company disables the SIM, so the number disappear from LED , and could be replaced with a sentence such as "reported stolen", which easily draws the attention of traffic patrols. The interactive license is an effective mean to limit cars steal accidents.

The interactive license plate could be used to correspond information to a car owner, such as the license expiry date, due fins, overcrowded streets during rush hours and forecast. The interactive license plate of the present invention could apply other applications as needed and supported, for example using GIS to trace stolen cars. Also, the main circuit (9) shown in figure (1) could be a part of a car electrical circuit (motherboard), so if the car is stolen and the SIM is disabled the electrical circuit (motherboard) of the car is stopped and the car does not move.

As said above, an authorized governmental traffic department issues the SIM with car chassis number and license plate number, which is activated once the SIM is inserted on the main circuit (motherboard) to verify it, then the interactive license plate is activated and the number appears on the LED (1) figure (2).

However, The SIM may have only the chassis number, and when it is inserted on the main circuit and the chassis number is verified, the SIM is activated. The communication company sends the car number as a message opens automatically and appears on the LED (1) shown in figure (2) on one single step via installed program on the main circuit (motherboard).

It is worthy noted that in case car is stolen, no device could be used to affect connection between the interactive license plate and Communication Company. Additionally, a thief cannot stop the SIM because this means that the number on the interactive license plate would disappear and such person will be a potential suspect.

Method of exploitation

The old ordinary license plate is replaced with the interactive license plate of the present invention. The new interactive license plate helps in reducing stealing accidents, and facilitates the police missions in finding stolen cars. The new interactive license plate could be used together with the ordinary license plate benefitting of both of them. Brief Description of the drawings:

1- Digital signal processor (DSP) transforms the analog signals into digital signals, and digital signals into analog signals.

2- Microprocessor, transmits orders to transmission station and receives information, processes them and displays them on LED.

3 - Memory, where operation system and programs are saved.

4- RF and power, is radio waves generator. It deals with hundreds of FM frequencies. It contains electrical power source responsible for managing electrical power and recharge.

5- RF, TX &RX, magnifies radio waves that deal with sent/received signals.

6- SIM insertion port.

7- A battery

8- Audio D/A & A/D

9- Motherboard is a maim electrical circuit connected to all the aforementioned parts and is connected to LED (1) shown in figure (2).
