A smart method for safe charging by means of a data line, comprising a mobile phone, and app software stalled in the mobile phone, a charging plug, a charging data line, a programmable chip, a storage module, a microphone, and a control switch. The smart method for safe charging by means of a data line comprising: setting, by means of the app software, on the mobile phone charging completion time for the mobile phone, the app software detecting the amount of power of the mobile phone, calculating the time required for completely charging the mobile phone, and at the same time, analyzing, according to the set charging completion time for the mobile phone, a specific charging time for the mobile phone; when the charging time is reached, the mobile phone transmitting to the programmable chip a charging instruction, the programmable chip controlling, by means of a program, the switch to close, thereby charging the mobile phone; and when the charging of the mobile phone is completed or the set charging completion time for the mobile phone is reached, controlling the switch to open, thereby stopping charging the mobile phone, not only saving the electric power, but also reducing the safety risk caused by charging.
