Abstract:
The present invention relates to a smart tunnel lamp control system and a method therefor. According to the present invention, provided is a smart tunnel lamp control system comprising: a first detection sensor, installed at a position corresponding to the entrance of a tunnel, for detecting an entry of a vehicle; at least one second detection sensor for detecting the presence or absence of a vehicle in the tunnel; a third detection sensor, installed at a position corresponding to the exit of the tunnel, for sensing the exit of the vehicle; and a control device for controlling a lighting state of a plurality of lamps installed along the inside of the tunnel on the basis of the sensing information of the first to third detection sensors. According to the present invention, the lighting state of the tunnel lamps can be efficiently controlled in consideration of a traffic state of vehicles in a tunnel, such that the electric energy consumption can be reduced.
