Abstract:
The present invention relates to a smart walking simulator that enables a user to experience a virtual reality while moving in the same manner as an actual human motion in a virtual space. The smart walking simulator comprises: a walking unit having a walking conveyor that is coupled to a pair of rotary shafts arranged in parallel in the front and rear thereof and rotates; a virtual reality display unit that is composed of a monitor installed on a front end of the walking unit or a head mounted display worn by a user and displays a virtual walking space; a user sensing unit that senses a rotational motion of a user boarding a walking unit; a slope adjusting unit that supports the walking unit at a lower portion thereof and is rotatably coupled to one of the front and rear ends of the walking unit and adjusts the other of the front and rear ends of the walking unit according to the ground surface inclination of the walking space displayed on the virtual reality display unit; and a rotation adjusting unit that supports the slope adjusting unit at a lower portion thereof and adjusts the rotation of the inclination adjusting unit according to a rotation detection operation signal of the user sensing unit. Due to these features, it is possible to implement all motions made while walking, running, sitting, jumping, etc., in various road surface environments.
