Abstract:
A smart water meter according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: a main body provided in a long circular pipe shape in one direction through which liquid passes; and a housing that is detachably coupled to the main body to form an inner space. The main body includes: an inlet provided at one end of the main body to allow liquid to flow into the main body through the inside of the main body; an outlet provided at the other end of the main body to allow the liquid passing through the inside of the main body to be discharged; a pair of first seating holes provided on the outer circumferential surface of the main body so as to form a vertical line with the inlet and the outlet while maintaining a predetermined interval therebetween such that ultrasonic sensors for detecting the flow rate of the liquid passing through the main body are respectively seated therein; and a second seating hole provided on an outer circumferential surface of the main body to form an extra seating space so as to be positioned between the outlet and the first seating holes provided at the side of the outlet. The housing includes: a case having an open top surface and coupled to the main body; and a cover that is detachably coupled to the open top surface of the case to cover the top surface of the case. The cover may have therein a display that displays the flow rate identified through the ultrasonic sensor, and the case may have a battery for supplying power.
