CLAIMS

TITLE OF INVENTION: A smartphone with wallet and keychain functions inside itself.

1) A smartphone opening like a book, with in wallet and keychain functions inside itself, thanks to compartments and spaces that host banknotes, all types of cards, license, credit cards, bills, all items that can normally be hosted in a wallet and keys for opening of locks, padlocks and doors.

2) Spaces and compartments inside a smartphone, as claimed in claim 1, so having the wallet and keychain functions, suitable to host banknotes, all types of cards, license, credit cards, bills, all items that can normally be hosted in a wallet and keys for opening of locks, padlocks and doors.

AMENDED CLAIMS

received by the International Bureau on 18 January 2018 (18.01.2018)

This patent is related to prior art of the patents n.:

EP 2342889 B1 (regard to the openable of the smartphone like a book);

US D376257 S (regard to the multi-compartment support between two parts).

1) A smartphone openable into two part, like a book, with the novelty to have a wallet function at the center, between the two parts; and a keychain function in the left part.

(The prior art about this type of openable smartphone in two parts (like a book), is related to the fig. 3A of the patent EP 2342889 Bl).

Characterized in that

A button (C) on the external smartphone's side is connected to an internal micro hook. When button is pressed, the micro hook opens the smartphone into two parts: (A) and (B); the same micro hook will block the two parts when the smartphone is closed.

On the other external side of the smartphone, (the opposite side to the button C), there are another micro hooks that unite the two parts (A) and (B) when the smartphone is opened, and, of course, also when the smartphone is closed. These micro hooks are of the type that allow the rotation of the two parts (A) and (B), to open and to close the smartphone.

The back outer side of the (A) part corresponds to the back outer side of the smartphone when it is closed. The back outer side of the (B) part corresponds to the frontal outer side of the smartphone when it is closed, (the display).

2) In accordance with claim 1 , when the smartphone is opened, in the center, between the 2 parts (A) and (B), there is a slim multi compartments holder (D).

This multi compartment holder has the innovative wallet function inside the smartphone.

(The prior art about this type of multi compartment holder, in the style of an accordion, is related to the fig.l and fig.2 of the patent US D376257 S).

The multi compartment holder (D) is fixed on its last right side to the part (B) of the smartphone; and on its first left side to the part (A).

Description:
A SMARTPHONE WITH WALLET AND KEYCHAIN FUNCTIONS

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present technology concerns the smartphones, for example such as the iPhone of Apple company, one of the most popular, but of course there are many other types of smartphones with different brands.

PROBLEMS TO SOLVE

[0002] How do I transform an ordinary smartphone into an item that, while maintaining its normal electronic functionality and external design, can at the same time be also a wallet and keychain?

How do I modify a smartphone that, (with no using of any external auxiliary cover, with no using of any removable casing), it can also have the functions of wallets and keychains inside itself ? In everyday life, how do I remove the classic wallet from my habits, without giving up on its content?

So, how can I integrate the content of the wallet, such as banknotes, all types of card, credit cards, license, bills, and similar items, into a smartphone?

And how do I keep a key for opening of locks, padlocks, and doors, inside a smartphone, safely and neatly?

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

[0003] The Fig.l shows the inside of the smartphone when in open mode; standing vertically. DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION

[0004] For this purpose, the present invention starts with an ordinary smartphone mobile phone (hereinafter referred to as smartphone), opening it into two parts. The two parts will be joined on their one side (the longest one), so that the smartphone can be opened like a book. After that, the two parts can be closed, reverting the smartphone at the single block of departure.

Inside the smartphone there will be spaces and compartments to host credit cards, banknotes, all type of cards, license, all items that can normally be hosted into a wallet and keys for opening of locks, padlocks and doors, such as for example the key to open a cabinet or to open the security chain of a bicycle.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

[0005] The opening of the smartphone can take place thanks to the side button (C). So the smartphone will open like a book, divided into two parts: the (A) and (B) parts of Figure 1. When the button (C) unlocks and separates the (A) part and the (B) part, these will be united on respective longest side.

[0006] When the smartphone is opened, into the (A) part there are the spaces and compartments (E) to host the keys (keychain function). On the other hand there is the part (B), that houses the ordinary various electronic circuits useful to use the smartphone.

When the smartphone is opened, between the (A) part and the (B) part, there is a further compartment (D) with slim pockets (wallet function), to host all the ordinary items of a wallet. When the smartphone is opened like a book, the two parts (A) and (B) will remain united in their respective longest side and embedded between them by means of internal micro hooks of the type that favor the free rotation during the opening and closing. The internal micro hooks will also establish a stop at the maximum opening, once enough space is reached for an easy access to the internal compartments.

[0007] The back side of the (A) part corresponds to the back outer side of the smartphone when it is closed. The back side of the (B) part corresponds to the frontal outer side of the smartphone when it is closed (the display).

[0008] When the smartphone is closed, the two parts (A) and (B) overlap and will form a single block, which is just the smartphone.

When the smartphone is closed, the two parts (A) and (B) will remain locked together by an ordinary hook. The same hook which will be unlocked by the side button (C) when the smartphone will be open.

So, when the smartphone is closed, the (A) and (B) parts will be united thanks to the micro hooks embedded on a side (the same hooks that united the two parts (A) and (B) also when the smartphone was open); and on the opposite side thanks to the hook connected to the button (C).

[0009] When the smartphone is closed, the internal compartments (D) and (E), and their contents, will be invisible and unavailable. The internal compartments (D) and (E), and their contents, can only be accessed when the smartphone is in open mode. CONCLUSION

[0010] Thanks to this invention, a new feature has been added to an ordinary smartphone, respecting its normal electronic functionality and external design; and without being forced to apply any external cover, shell or auxiliary items.

The smartphone, with its new functions of wallet and keychain, becomes a new item, more complete, better, most useful and practical for everyone in daily use.
