Abstract:
Provided is a snow sliding apparatus such as a snowboard or a ski board which can easily ensure operability when turning on a snow surface and with which safe sliding is possible on manmade objects. A snow sliding apparatus 10 comprises: a long and narrow plate-shaped core 1; a sliding surface 2 formed on the bottom surface of the core 1; and an edge 3 attached to a portion or all of the outer periphery of the sliding surface 2. An edge corner 5 is formed at a position separated by a prescribed distance d in the upward direction from a snow contacting surface 3c of the edge 3, and an inclined section 6 having a lower gripping power than the edge 3 is formed connecting to the snow contacting surface 3c and the edge corner 5. The corner 5 is disposed at a position at the same height as or higher than the inclined section 6 when viewed in the upward direction.
