Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a snowboard binding for which a stopper function operates when boots are removed and for which the stopper function is canceled when the boots are mounted, and a stopper device for snowboard bindings that can be used by mounting to a binding such as the type of binding described in Patent Reference Document 1. A snowboard binding is configured so as to be provided with a biasing body 9 that biases a high back 4 to rotate toward the rear and so that the high back 4 automatically rotates toward the rear due to the rotational biasing of the biasing body 9 when a locking lever 7 of a locking mechanism 6 is in a lock release state, and is configured so that when the high back 4 reaches the rear rotational limit position or the vicinity of the rear rotational limit position, an erect orientation of the locking lever 7 from the rear face of a high back 4 is maintained by a linking cord 8 of the locking mechanism 6 being under tension, and the locking lever 7 in the erect orientation exerts a flow-stopping action by being in contact with the snow surface S under a snowboard 1.
