Abstract:
A socket (16) holds a straight tube lamp equipped with a leg part (29) and an earth pin (28) having an elliptical holding part (30) that is larger in diameter than the leg part (29) and is formed on the tip of the leg section (29). The socket (16) is provided with a socket body (41), a guiding means (54), and a terminal (42). The socket body (41) has: an insertion opening (48) that is larger in diameter than the shorter diameter dimension of the elliptical holding part (30) of the earth pin (28); and a notch section (49) extending connectedly from the insertion opening (48) to a prescribed holding position (P) where the earth pin (28) is held, and enabling insertion of the leg part (29) of the earth pin (28). The guiding means (54) guides the holding part (30) to the prescribed holding position (P) by rotation of the earth pin (28) between the insertion hole (48) and the prescribed holding position (P). The terminal (42) holds the holding part (30) of the earth pin (28) in the prescribed holding position (P).
