Abstract:
When inserting a between-teeth cleaner into between teeth using a mouth cavity-cleaner assistant tool, the tool can insert the cleaner between teeth while preventing gums from being hurt by the cleaner, and the cleaner can be inserted without giving pain or unpleasant feeling to the user. The cleaner fits without resistance between teeth with a limited insertion direction. There is no tooth root recess left unbrushed, and the tool is less likely to be broken during cleaning between teeth. The between-teeth cleaner has a between-teeth cleaning sponge connected to a movement shaft of an electric between-teeth cleaner or to a holding section of a manual between-teeth cleaner. The cleaner sponge is structured such that sponge (continuous porous substance), such as natural cellulose, natural rubber, synthetic rubber or synthetic resin, having various shapes and high compressibility is adhered or welded to the periphery of the tip of a shaft section made of resin or metal having appropriate elasticity, shape restoring capability, and flexibility.
