The purpose of the present invention is to carry out a software update in which control that does not appear in the control schedule of a facility apparatus is also taken into account. Provided is a software update management system, comprising: a control schedule information storage unit 38 which stores control schedule information in which a schedule of control of a building facility 30 has been defined; an update request acceptance means 31 which accepts update request information of software which operates in the building facility 30; an update assessment unit 33 which assesses the possibility of the update of the software; and a software update unit 34 which carries out the update of the software. The update assessment unit 33: refers to state information of a load upon the building facility 30 which a state monitoring unit 32 has acquired; computes an impact which an update process of the software which approaches a scheduled update time will have upon the control for which the schedule has been defined in the control schedule information and also upon control which has not been defined therein; and if the computed impact is greater than or equal to a threshold value, does not command the software update unit 34 for the update of the software.
