Abstract:
This SOH estimation device: identifies a first SOC for a power storage element on the basis of the OCV of the power storage element obtained before the supply of electric current to the power storage element is initiated; calculates, on the basis of the electric current flowing in the power storage element while electric current is being supplied to the power storage element, an electricity change amount indicating the change in the amount of electricity charged in the power storage element since the initiation of electric current supply; calculates a first SOC change amount by dividing the electricity change amount at a point in time after the supply of electric current to the power storage element has ended by the initial fully charged capacity of the power storage element; identifies a second SOC for the power storage element on the basis of the OCV of the power storage element obtained after the supply of electric current to the power storage element has ended; calculates a second SOC change amount by subtracting the first SOC from the second SOC; and calculates an estimated value for the SOH of the power storage element on the basis of the first SOC change amount and the second SOC change amount.
