Abstract:
Provided is a solar battery front-side sealing film having a sufficient cross-linking speed, in which the front-side sealing film and a cell fixing tape are prevented from yellowing and bubble formation is suppressed.
A stacked body is formed by stacking, in this order, a front-side transparent protection member (11), a front-side sealing film (13A), solar battery cells (14), a back-side sealing film (13B), and a back-side protection member (12), wherein the solar battery cells (14) are temporarily fixed at predetermined positions by cell fixing tapes. The front-side sealing film is used for a solar battery in which the solar battery cells are sealed by integrating the stacked body by cross-linking. The front-side solar battery sealing film (13A) is characterized in containing an EVA, a cross-linking agent, and an ultraviolet absorbing agent, wherein: the cross-linking agent is 2,5-dimethyl-2,5-di(t-butylperoxy)-hexan and is contained by 1.2 to 2.5 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the EVA; and the ultraviolet absorbing agent is 2-hydroxy-4-n-octoxybenzophenone and is contained by 0.015 to 0.05 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the EVA.
