Abstract:
Provided are: a solar cell, which can be manufactured by means of a non-vacuum process, and which is capable of achieving a higher photoelectric conversion efficiency; a method for manufacturing the solar cell; a semiconductor element; and a semiconductor element manufacturing method. This solar cell at least has a first semiconductor layer (140) and a second semiconductor layer (130), and the first semiconductor layer (140) includes metal oxide particles having an average particle diameter of 1-500 nm, and a compound having a relative permittivity equal to or more than 2. For instance, the compound in the first semiconductor layer (140) is an organic compound having a relative permittivity of 2-1,000, and the organic compound content in the first semiconductor layer (140) is 10-90 mass%.
