Abstract:
A solar power plant contains a solar radiation receiver (1) and a heliostat (2) mounted on a rotating supporting device (3) comprised of two reciprocally perpendicular shafts (4, 5). The main shaft (4) of that device (3) is oriented along the beam reflected from the mirror of the heliostat (2). The heliostat (2) is provided with a mechanism of tracking the visible movement of the sun, which contains a drive shaft (7) oriented in relation to the earth surface at an angle (phi) equal to the geographical latitude of the solar power plant location, as well as a rigid draw-bar (8) directed to the sun and a telescopic rod (9) interconnected to each other. One end of the rigid draw-bar (8) is connected to the heliostat (2) by means of slides (10) mounted on guides (11) secured to the load-bearing frame (12) of the heliostat (2). Another end of the draw-bar (8) is connected to the drive shaft (7) at the point (A) of its axis intersecting with the axis of the main shaft (4). The telescopic rod (9) is jointed to the drive shaft (7).
