Abstract:
The invention of fuelless space propulsion systems will be a new revolution in the field of space explorations. The system is an electric engine that can propel itself in space using solar energy and without using any fuel that dissipates overtime. So the propulsion can be longer and so the system will achieve very high speeds. The unit uses electromagnetic repulsion and delayed reaction force within the system to displace the system in space. By this propulsion even a considerable size asteroid can be propelled in space using only the energy harnesses from the sun. By adding the engines in the blades of the generator, electric energy can be harnessed from the sun better than the solar panels. Overall motion and displacement in the space environment will be achieved using this technology.

Claims:
1. Using magnetic repulsion with delayed reaction force, of every action, to propel spacecraft and objects through space.

2. Using this space engine, which uses magnetic repulsion also sometimes magnetic attraction along with delayed Newton’s reaction force for the purpose of commuting, mining and other propulsion units in space.

3. Rain Harvesting- Using the engines to deflect the rain bearing clouds as the part of rain harvesting artificially.

4. Generate electric power in space from the sun with a higher conversion rate than the solar panel system using this invention(Space Engine Cylinder) fitted in the rotor blades.

1. There is equal and opposite reaction force for every action force; the idea is to delay one of the forces from acting immediately onto the housing inside which both forces exist. So by delaying one force from acting on the housing there is unbalancing of forces on the system or the housing which will be the cause for the displacement. This displacement by delaying one of the forces from acting on the housing and then transforming that delayed force into heat radiation will propel the object or housing. For example in rocket propulsion there is mass exiting the housing in high velocity is the reason for the propulsion of the rocket, here instead of mass, only the energy is exited out of the system as heat radiations. So unbalancing of forces inside a housing for the propulsion of the housing triggered by an external energy source which can be solar power or other power sources like nuclear etc..

2. Space engine which will be using magnetic repulsion or attraction, along with delaying one of the forces from acting on the housing and then transforming the kinetic energy due to that one force into heat radiating out of the system for propulsion. This mechanism will cause a propulsion of the housing by internal motion caused by external sources like solar, electric potential energy etc. So that this propulsion mechanism can be used for the purpose of commuting, mining and other propulsion requirements in space.

3. To harvest rain by placing the space engine captured to the clouds and deflecting the clouds so that harvesting rain bearing clouds and also shadowing a particular region using the clouds. This is possible as no mass exists out of the system to disperse the clouds.

4. Space propulsion, space mining, electricity generation interplanetary communication and logistics using this propulsion engine.

SOLAR SPACE PROPULSION SYSTEM

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(ELECTROMAGNETIC SPACE ENGINE)

1. FIELD OF INVENTION

• This invention is a space propulsion system that will replace rockets and ion propulsion systems. This space engine has the capacity to operate as the electric rail route system between heavenly bodies so there will be stellar or planetary industrial revolution as we can transport materials and people between heavenly bodies with Hitech electric propelling vehicles or space probes.

• The design of space engine cylinders are such that only the opposite reaction force of the action force (Newton’s 3rd Law), that happens inside the probe due to magnetic repulsion, is delayed from acting upon the surface of the probe. So that one force will be pushing the probe in forward direction and the other force(or opposite reaction force) does not make any WORK until time period T. T is the time taken by the 2nd magnet(Reaction force) to reach/interact with the surface of the space engine cylinder(that will be at a distance D) after the repulsion force is established between two magnets.

• Work done by reaction force(or opposite force) can be delayed from not acting on the surface of the system thereby achieving acceleration of the closed system in one direction by the action force which instantly acts on the surface of the closed system and delaying the other reaction force, which does not hinder the work done by the action force, for a time period T. This force due to delayed work done by the reaction force is the basic working principle of this propulsion system.

2. DESCRIPTION OF RELATED INVENTION

• The existing ion propulsion and external combustion engines work mainly with the fuel that needs to be carried with it, which adds to the mass of the probe and once the fuel level drops the mission has to be terminated.

• Ion propulsion has inert gases as fuel which again will drop its level with time and the thrust achieved is very low for higher payload capacity missions. Since its fuel lasts longer than rockets it reaches very high speed comparing the rocket system. • Nuclear propulsion is risky and radiations will cause permanent damages to the payload. So a risk free and fuel less propulsion system will make a revolution in the field of transport between heavenly bodies by reducing the transport cost with the use of solar power. With a space engine using solar power for propulsion the probe can travel anywhere within the solar system efficiently. IEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION i. The invention of the space engine that will work like an electric car to establish transportation in the vacuum of space. The engine uses electro- magnetic repulsion force to propel the probes so by continuous strokes of the engine the probe will be sent to space and other heavenly bodies without the need of fuel as it completely works with the electrical system, solar energy can be used as the fuel source. ii. The magnetic repulsion force is used as the propelling force with which the probe will be moved between a distance. The engine uses the concept of Delayed Newtonian reaction force. “Every action has equal and opposite reaction.” By intelligent design of engineering, the opposite reaction force is delayed to not act upon the surface of the probe for a time period T. The action force interacts with the internal wall of the probe by the instant when the repulsion force is established, thereby pushing the probe in the direction of the action force until the reaction force hits the opposite end of the cylinder in the space engine after a time time T crossing a distance D inside the cylinder without interacting with the probe body. So when the reaction force acts upon the surface of the probe the push force of the action force is neutralised so the probe remains unaccelerated but the forward displacement achieved by delaying the reaction force remains unchanged. To keep the probe moving continuously, a soft braking system is used which converts kinetic energy to heat energy so the reaction force does not affet the work done by the initial action force. By doing this higher acceleration can be achieved. iii. In the meantime the energy of the body with reaction force(a permanent magnet in this case) will be transferred to heat energy and then sent back to its primary location by use of rotatory motion with a screw rod. So that the rotary motion does not affect the forward propulsion of the system. The action and reaction force is the repulsion force between an electromagnet and permanent magnet which requires a small energy requirement and works fine with space, earth and most other atmospheric conditions. iv. This invention can be used to harvest rain in the desired location by deflecting the rain bearing clouds since it doesn’t use aerodynamics, the clouds remain intact even after placing this electric engine around clouds. The engine with electrostatic force attracts the rain bearing clouds. A number of engines will surround the cloud and attract with the electrostatic force and the engines will slowly deflect the clouds. Since there isn’t any aerodynamic principle of air pressure involved in the working of this space engine, the clouds do not get dispersed. So a rain bearing cloud can be made to rain in the region desired by the humans. v. Propulsion in water surface makes another great way to transport between oceans. One of the best uses will be transporting fresh water from the icebergs of the South Pole slowly and continuously to the land region. These solar powered engines will work in the presence of sun so the cost of fuel won’t be a problem when it comes to Long distance transportation. vi. Light year travelling probes will be manufacturing reality with these engines. RIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The figure [1] is the OFF mode of the space engine or 1st stroke. The electromagnet and the small permanent magnet are close to each other. This is possible only when the electromagnet is demagnetised. The probe remains still without any propulsion.

The figure [2] is the ON mode or the 2nd stroke. The electromagnet is magnetised such that the electromagnet and the permanent magnet repel each other. Due to this repulsion force between the magnets, there will be equal and opposite force between the magnets in both the directions. The space engine cylinders are designed such that the permanent magnet does not interact with the walls of the space probe until a time period T. At the same time the electromagnet remains attached to the surface of cylinder so the force is transferred to the probe wall instantly in one direction, the opposite reaction force is delayed to interact with the probe so the reaction force is delayed and the action force starts to move the probe in one direction until the time period T.

The Figure [3] is the 3rd stroke of the engine. Now the permanent magnet hits the surface of the probe, so the acceleration of the probe in one direction is stopped but the probe continues to move with the velocity V m/s as there is a cushion that transfers kinetic energy to heat energy, by using a ideal cushion very high acceleration can be achieved.

The figure [4] is the 4th stroke where the motor is switched ON and the electromagnet is switched OFF. Now the screw mechanism will push the permanent magnet back to its original position, closer to the electromagnet. With the repetition of the cycle acceleration for time T is achieved again then the velocity of 2 V m/s is achieved in the 2nd cycle. With every cycle the velocity V increases which can be represented graphically.

The screw mechanism is represented in the figure[5] which will push the permanent magnet back to its original position for the continuity cycle of the engine at the stroke 4 of the space engine.

The Permanent magnet is designed such that there is a threaded hole in the middle, which will help in raising the permanent magnet back to its original by the clockwise rotation of the screw rod using the stepper motor. The threaded hole then will be covered by the sliding bearing setup which will help the permanent magnet slide across the rod until it hits the cushion surface. Then again the threads are used to raise magnets back to its position.

Alternately the slide rod and the screw rod can be a separate setup, which will make the magnet slide using sliding rod and recoil using screw rod. This is explained in Figure[6]
