Abstract:
This solar thermal power generation system has: a solar heat collection device (22) for heating water; a vapor turbine (31); a generator (32); a condenser (51); a water tank (52); a water supply pump (53); a solar heat collection device (23) for heating air; a heat storage device (4) for storing and releasing heat by exchanging heat with a heat medium for storing heat, which comprises air; a first heat exchanger (61) for exchanging heat between a heat medium for generating power, which comprises water, and the heat medium for storing heat; and an air supply device (7) for supplying, as the heat medium for storing heat, air from the outside. It is possible to switch between a daytime operation mode in which the operation of the vapor turbine (31) by means of heated vapor and the storing of heat in the heat storage device (4) by means of heated air are performed, and a nighttime operation mode in which the vapor turbine (31) is operated by heated vapor generated by heat exchange in the first heat exchanger (61) between heated air produced by heating by means of heat released from the heat storage device (4), and the heat medium for generating power.
