Description:
Soldering component

The subject of the invention is a soldering component designed primarily for reinforcing steel structures or for increasing the rigidity of metallic structural parts, extending the heat exchange area in heat exchangers and changing the flow direction of liquid or gas.

Existing metallic fms are joined with metallic structural parts by fusion welding, soldering, welding, bonding, etc. It is difficult to attach fins in an upright position to the structural part along its side edge.

The objective of the invention is to develop the structure of a component including a fin or fins to enable easy and quick connection of the fms with the part required.

A soldering component, according to the invention, is characterised in that it has at least one fin made of a metal strip with any surface shape, with soldering foil material attached to at least one side and at an angle to the fin surface.

Preferably, the component has two or more fms made of a metal strip with any surface shape, arranged in a pack, with soldering foil material attached to at least one side, on one side of the pack, and at an angle to the fin surface.

The soldering foil is preferably attached perpendicularly to the surface of both opposing sides of a single fin or fins if in a pack.

The fins arranged in a pack are preferably of the same shape.

The foil is preferably spot-welded to the side of a single fin or fins if in a pack.

A single fin or fins in a pack are preferably undulated in shape. The soldering component, when used, considerably reduces the time needed to solder a single fm or fins or a pack of fins to the structural part concerned.

The invention will now be described by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:

Fig. 1 shows the soldering component with one undulated fin,

in perspective view;

Fig. 2 shows the soldering component with a pack of undulated

fins arranged in parallel, in perspective view;

Fig. 3 shows the soldering component with a pack of undulated fins in radial arrangement, in perspective view;

Fig. 4 shows the soldering component with a pack of undulated fins arranged symmetrically, in perspective view.

Sample executions of the invention

According to the first execution example, the soldering component shown in Fig. 1 has one undulated fin 1, made of a metal strip with a smooth surface, with the soldering material foil 2 attached to the opposite sides, as a rule, perpendicularly to the fin surface, for joining the fin 1 with the parts concerned, with the aid of a soldering furnace. The soldering components can be arranged in any geometrical sets as required.

According to the second execution example, the soldering component shown in Fig. 2 has multiple undulated fins 1, made of a metal strip with a smooth surface, arranged in parallel in a pack, with the soldering material foil 2 attached to the opposite sides, on both sides of the pack, as a rule, perpendicularly to the fm surface, for joining the fins 1 with the parts concerned, with the aid of a soldering furnace. Open channels are formed between the fins. A soldering component with such a configuration of fins in a pack can be used for extending the heat exchange area in heat exchangers. According to the third execution example, the soldering component shown in Fig. 3 has multiple undulated fins 1 , made of a metal strip with a smooth surface, in radial arrangement in a pack. To the sides of the fms, on one side of the pack, the soldering material foil 2 is attached, as a rule, perpendicularly to the fin surface, for joining the fms 1 with the part concerned, with the aid of a soldering furnace. A soldering component with such a configuration of fins in a pack can be used for reinforcing a column base.

According to the fourth execution example, the soldering component shown in Fig. 4 has multiple undulated fms 1 , made of a metal strip with a smooth surface, arranged in a pack and positioned symmetrically, forming cells. To the sides of the fins, on one side of the pack, the soldering material foil 2 is attached, as a rale, perpendicularly to the fin surface, for joining the fins 1 with the part concerned, with the aid of a soldering furnace. A soldering component with such a configuration of fms in a pack can be used for reinforcing walls in pressure equipment.

The foil is preferably spot-welded to the side of a single fin or fms if in a pack.

In other execution examples, depending on the application of the soldering component, the fins can be straight or undulated freely and can have stamped ribs, incisions or bends, e.g. to expand their area for use in a heat exchanger.

The soldering component or components are arranged with the structural parts to which the fins will be connected according to the configuration required and are joined with the aid of a soldering

furnace. The soldering foil forms a joint between the fin and the component being joined.
