Abstract:
Provided is a sole structure for a sport shoe, said sole structure enabling an acceleration force to be increased during exercise and enabling agility to be achieved. A sole structure (1) for a gym shoe is provided with a sole body (2) made from a soft elastic member, and a plate-like member (3) that is harder than the sole body (2) and is disposed at a position corresponding to just below first to fourth distal toe phalanxes (DP1 to DP4) on the sole contact side (2A) of the sole body (2). The plate-like member (3) extends substantially in the foot width direction along the toes, in an arc shape, and has a narrow section (3C) that is short in the foot length direction in a region corresponding to between the first toe and the second toe.
