Abstract:
Provided is a solid electrolyte capacitor in which both high dielectric strength and high capacity are achieved, and a method for manufacturing the solid electrolyte capacitor. The solid electrolyte capacitor is provided with an anode foil, a cathode foil opposite the anode foil, and an electrically conductive polymer disposed between the anode foil and the cathode foil. The anode foil comprises a large number of tunnel-shaped etching pits formed in an upper layer of the anode foil, a dielectric oxide film layer formed on the upper layer of the anode foil, and a pseudo boehmite layer formed on the upper layer of the anode foil and positioned closer to the surface side than the dielectric oxide film layer. The amount of the pseudo boehmite layer is 0.4 mg·cm-2 to 1.8 mg·cm-2 inclusive.
