Abstract:
The present invention provides a solid electrolyte material which is capable of maintaining high lithium ion conductivity in an atomizing process. This solid electrolyte material comprises Li, M, and X, wherein M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of metal elements other than Li and metalloid elements, X is at least one element selected from the group consisting of F, Cl, Br, and I, mathematical formula FWHM/2θp≤0.015 is satisfied, where FWHM represents the full width at half maximum of an X-ray diffraction peak having the highest intensity within the range of diffraction angles 2θ between 25° to 35° in an X-ray diffraction pattern obtained by X-ray diffraction measurement of the solid electrolyte material using Cu-Kα radiation and 2θp represents the diffraction angle of the center of the X-ray diffraction peak, the value obtained by dividing the average ion radius of Li and M by the average ion radius of X is over 0.424, and the solid electrolyte material contains a crystal phase that belongs to a hexagonal crystal.
