Title:
SOLID ELECTROLYTE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/061248
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This solid electrolyte has a melilite structure and has a composition represented by La2-yMyX3-zMgzO7+α, wherein M represents an alkaline earth metal element other than Mg, X represents a trivalent metal element, 0 < y < 2, 0 < z < 3, and α represents a value required for maintaining electrical neutrality. A solid electrolyte according to the present invention is a novel solid electrolyte that has a higher conductivity than YSZ at 600°C. It is preferable that X is Ga and/or Al. In addition, it is preferable that y satisfies 1.9 ≤ (2 - y)/y ≤ 4.0. It is also preferable that z satisfies 0 < z ≤ 0.20.
