Abstract:
Provided is a solid electrolytic capacitor manufacturing apparatus which stably
forms a high-quality solid electrolytic layer and is excellent in productivity
and workability. The manufacturing apparatus is provided with a bonding section
for bonding an anode electrode to an anode body; a supply section for supplying
a polymerization solution in a polymerization tank with the anode body; and cathode
electrodes arranged on the both sides in the width direction of the anode body
in the polymerization solution in a noncontact status. Electrolytic polymerization
is performed by applying a voltage to the anode electrode and the cathode electrode
in the polymerization solution from a power supply, and a solid electrolytic
layer composed of conductive polymer is formed. Thus, the conductive particles
are prevented from being generated and adhered on a polymerization tank inner
wall and a change of the effective area of the cathode electrode is suppressed,
and a solid electrolytic layer is uniformly formed.
