Abstract:
Provided is a solid electrolytic capacitor which has an electrolyte layer composed of a solid electrolyte layer and a liquid, wherein the occurrence of an undoping reaction can be prevented and particularly ESR is less likely to increase rapidly after the application of thermal stress. The solid electrolytic capacitor has such a configuration that an electrolyte layer is formed in a capacitor element composed of a positive electrode foil and a negative electrode foil that face each other. The electrolyte layer includes a solid electrolyte layer and a liquid. The solid electrolyte layer contains an electrically conductive polymer composed of a dopant and a conjugated polymer. The liquid is filled in a void part formed in the capacitor element having the solid electrolyte layer formed therein. The electrolyte layer contains a cationic component at a molar ratio of 6 or less relative to 1 mol of a functional group that can be involved in the reaction for doping with the dopant.
