Abstract:
Provided are a solid food and solid milk that have preferable solubility and strength that allows the solid food and solid milk to be easily handled. This solid food is a solid that is obtained by compression molding of food powder. Regarding a total crystallization rate that is the difference between the ratio of crystals in the solid food and the ratio of crystals with respect to the total weight at respective depths from the surface of the solid food, the solid food is configured such that the depth from the surface of the solid food at which the increase in the total crystallization rate is zero or at a local minima is 1.1 mm or less.
