Abstract:
Realized is a solid-state battery using a silica-based glass material and exhibiting superior battery characteristics. A solid-state battery (1A) includes a laminate (10A), a silica-based glass material (20A), and a buffer layer (30A). The laminate (10A) has: a cathode layer (11) and an anode layer (12) which are electrode layers; and a solid electrolytic layer (13). The solid electrolytic layer (13) and each of the electrode layers are alternately laminated. In one example, the anode layer (12) is located as the outermost layer. The silica-based glass material (20A) covers the laminate (10A). The buffer layer (30A) has insulation property and is provided between the silica-based glass material (20A) and the anode layer (12) which is the outermost layer of the laminate (10A).
