Abstract:
Provided is a solid-state battery comprising a solid-state battery stack that has: a positive electrode layer having a positive electrode active material; a negative electrode layer having a negative electrode active material; and a solid electrolyte layer interposed between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer. The solid-state battery of the present invention has an active material contour section and a non-active material contour section that are mutually opposing in a stacking direction. The active material contour section is a section at which an electrode active material is provided up to a planar view contour of the solid-sate battery stack in either the positive electrode layer having the positive electrode active material or the negative electrode layer having the negative electrode active material. The non-active material contour section is a section at which an electrode active material is not provided up to the planar view contour of the solid-state battery stack in the other of the positive electrode layer and negative electrode layer.
