Abstract:
The present technology pertains to a solid-state imaging device and electronic apparatus that make it possible to generate high-resolution IR images while also maintaining high quality of visible light images. This solid-state imaging device is provided with a pixel array unit in which a plurality of pixels are arrayed in a two-dimensional shape. Each of the pixels comprises a first photoelectric conversion region formed in an higher layer than a semiconductor layer, a second photoelectric conversion region formed in the semiconductor layer, a first filter for transmitting light of a predetermined wavelength region corresponding to a color component, and a second filter having a different transmission property from that of the first filter. Light of the visible light region is photoelectrically converted by one photoelectric conversion region from among the first photoelectric conversion region and the second photoelectric conversion region, and light of the infrared region is photoelectrically converted by the other photoelectric conversion region. The first filter is formed in a higher layer than the first photoelectric conversion region. The second filter has a transmission property for aligning wavelengths of light of the infrared region absorbed by the other photoelectric conversion region formed in the lower layer than the first filter.
