Abstract:
The present invention reduces power consumption in a solid-state imaging element provided with a differential input circuit for each pixel. The solid-state imaging element comprises a current source circuit, a pair of differential transistors, and a digital signal generation unit. The current source circuit in the solid-state imaging element supplies a prescribed constant current when a prescribed enable signal is inputted. The pair of differential transistors generate, using the constant current, a differential amplification signal in which a difference between an analog signal generated by a pixel circuit and a prescribed reference signal is amplified. The digital signal generation unit generates a digital signal from the differential amplification signal.
