Abstract:
Achieved is a solid-state laser device which is capable of generating stable laser oscillation for a long period of time.
A solid-state laser device (1) which is provided with: a laser rod (10) that is formed from an alexandrite crystal; a flash lamp (12) which outputs excitation light for exciting the laser rod (10), and wherein a glass tube (12a) for the lamp is formed from quartz glass that blocks at least deep ultraviolet light having a wavelength of 200-300 nm, while transmitting visible light having a wavelength of 400 nm or more; and a laser chamber (15) which internally contains a tubular reflector (14) that is formed from a porous body of a polytetrafluoroethylene and is provided with a pore (40) that internally contains at least a part of the laser rod (10) and a part of the flash lamp (12), and wherein an inner wall surface (42) of the pore (40) functions as a reflection surface that reflects the excitation light.
