Abstract:
High power solid-laser equipment is provided for highly reliable operation. The solid-state laser equipment is provided with a core (4), which includes a laser oscillation element at the center and is made of a solid-state laser medium, and a light guide (5), which is integrally formed on a circumference of the core and is transparent to excitation light (6, 7). The core (4) and one plane of the light guide (5) are fixed to a heat sink (1), the excitation light (6, 7) is introduced into the light guide (5) from an excitation light incidence plane (5A) on an external side of the light guide (5) and is propagated to the core (4) to perform laser oscillation. In the solid-state laser equipment, the light guide (5) continuous from the excitation light incidence plane (5A) is formed in a overhung status wherein the optical guide (5) is spatially protruded to the external side from the heat sink (1), and is not brought into contact with an adhesive layer (2) for fixing and the heat sink (1).
