Abstract:

A solvent for crystallization, characterized by containing at least one cycloalkyl ether compound represented by the general formula [1]; and a method of crystallization, characterized by using the crystallization solvent. In the crystallization method, the solvent has a poor affinity for water and is easy to recover, purify, and repeatedly use. A purified product having a high purity can be efficiently produced by the method. In the formula, R¹ is optionally substituted cyclopentyl or optionally substituted cyclohexyl and R² is optionally substituted C_1-10 alkyl or optionally substituted C_3-8 cycloalkyl. R¹-O-R² [1]
