Provided is a sorting and conveying system, which is suitable for the field of cargo sorting and conveying apparatus, the sorting and conveying system includes a feeding device (20), at least two unloading devices (30) and a sorter (10), the feeding device (20) and at least two unloading devices (30) are arranged on the outer circumference of the sorter (10) at intervals in the circumferential direction; the sorter (10) includes an identification device (800) for identifying the cargo information on the feeding device (20), several roller transferring mechanisms (200) arranged in several rows and several columns for transferring cargo, a transferring drive mechanism (400) for driving the several roller transferring mechanisms (200) to operate synchronously to transfer cargo, a steering drive mechanism (100) for driving the several roller transferring mechanisms (200) to steer synchronously to change the direction of cargo conveying, and a controller (900) for controlling the operation of the transferring drive mechanism (400) and controlling the operation of the steering drive mechanism (100) according to the feedback information of the identification device (800). The sorting and conveying system has a simple structure, low cost, and high control precision of the steering angle of each roller.
