Abstract:
This sound conversion device, which converts an operation sound generated during an operation of a target apparatus, comprises: a sound acquisition circuit (10) which acquires an operation sound including abnormal noise as a sound pressure time signal that is a signal indicating a change over time in sound pressure intensity; a signal conversion circuit (20) which converts a signal corresponding to the sound pressure time signal into frequency characteristics that indicate the sound pressure intensity for each frequency including a human non-audible frequency band, obtains a sonified signal obtained by changing a frequency of an abnormal noise signal, which indicates the sound pressure intensity of abnormal noise in the non-audible frequency band in a signal corresponding to the frequency characteristics, into a human audible frequency band, and outputs the sonified signal as the audible sound signal that is a signal indicating a change over time in the sound pressure intensity; and a speaker (40) which generates a sound on the basis of the audible signal.
