Abstract:
A sound signal from a sound source is picked up by a microphone. The ACF and IACF are calculated using the picked-up sound signal by a computer or CPU. The ACF factor and IACF factor are calculated using the calculated ACF and IACF by a CPU. A predetermined database containing sound tone data on sound tone related to the ACF factor, rhythm data on rhythm related to the ACF factor, and psychological evaluation data on sound psychological evaluation related to the ACF factor is built in advance. Sound is evaluated on the basis of the calculated ACF factor and IACF factor and the database. The ACF factor and IACF factor determined from the sound generated by a musical instrument are compared with the pre-built database of the ACF factor and IACE'factor of good sound, and the difference is presented. Thus a musical instrument of excellent sound can be produced.
