Abstract:
A sound output device (1) comprises: a speaker (10) that has a vibration board (11); a behind-the-speaker space (110) that is located behind the speaker (10) on the opposite side from the vibration board (11); and a cable (105) that is electrically connected to the speaker (10) and extends to the outside from inside the behind-the-speaker space (110). The speaker (10) comprises: a behind-the-vibration-board space (31) that is located behind the vibration board (11) on the opposite side from a sound radiation direction; and a sound hole (30) having a first opening (30a) that opens to the behind-the-vibration-board space (31) and a second opening (30b) that opens to the behind-the-speaker space (110). When viewed in the direction from the first opening (30a) to the second opening (30b), the cable (105) inside the behind-the-speaker space (110) is disposed outside a region occupied by the sound hole (30).
