Abstract:
Provided is a sound output device for a vehicle in which a speaker device (6) is arranged in the space between a bumper reinforcement (3) that reinforces the bumper of a vehicle (2) and a bumper absorber (4) that is attached to the front surface side of the bumper reinforcement (3). An approach notification sound that is output from the front surface of the speaker device (6) is emitted to the outside from a first opening (41A) that is provided to the driver seat side of the bumper absorber (4). An approach notification sound that is output from the rear surface of the speaker device (6) passes through a sound path between the bumper reinforcement (3) and the bumper absorber (4) and is emitted to the outside from a second opening (41B) that is provided to the passenger seat side of the bumper absorber (4).
