Abstract:
A sound processing device according to the present disclosure comprises: a failure detection unit that detects whether there is a failure in at least one among a first microphone which receives first sound and outputs a first sound signal corresponding to the first sound and a second microphone which receives a second sound and outputs a second sound signal corresponding to the second sound signal, and transmits the detection result as failure detection information; a signal generation unit that generates a first output signal on the basis of at least one among the first sound signal and the second sound signal; and a control unit that controls the signal generation unit on the basis of the failure detection information. When the failure detection information includes information indicating that the second microphone has failed, the control unit controls the signal generation unit so as to operate in a first mode for generating the first output signal on the basis of the first sound signal output by the first microphone for which a failure was not detected.
