Abstract:
The present technology relates to a sound reproduction device and method for achieving appropriate sound localization without degrading sound quality. The sound reproduction device is provided with: a reflective speaker which is capable of directivity control and outputs sound toward a predetermined surface on the basis of a highband signal of an acoustic signal; and a plurality of lowband speakers which are disposed near the predetermined surface and outputs sound on the basis of a lowband signal of the acoustic signal. The present technology may be applied to sound reproduction devices.
